Position Title: Deli Clerk/Cashier

Employment type: Full-time/Part-time

Job description: This position is for a mature person who is very organized, loves helping people, and is into learning all about some great meats – such as how they are prepared and how to cook them. This person helps every customer who walks through the door find the meat they are looking for and also packs orders for wholesale customers. Advancement is a definite possibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Helping in-store customers with their orders
• Taking payments at the cash station and P.O.S. machine
• Packing online and wholesale orders
• Answering the phon and helping those customers with their inquiries
• Slicing and packing deli meats
• Wrapping and labelling sausage and other meat cuts
• Vacuum sealing meats and other items
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop

Requirements:

• Good computer knowledge
• Good math and communication skills
• Minimum 1 year in a previous customer service role
• Minimum 1 year in a previous food service role
• Able to be on their feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines
