Position Title: Kitchen Helper

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic kitchen helper to join our team. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling and chopping vegetables
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized
• Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations
• Clean dishes, utensils and equipment promptly to ensure a smooth workflow
• Support butchers by providing necessary ingredients and tools
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Ability to lift 50lbs
